Hi, I'm here.
I only play drum just a little. Working on getting better at it.
I only play hand-drum (currently doumbek). Not the kind of drum you hit with sticks.

As I said in the other post, I am a very active member on the Banjo Hangout as I am pretty new to playing banjo, but with drums I am very experienced. I hope that I can help out those here the way that those have helped me on the Banjo Hangout.

It has been a long time desire to play cadences on a snare drum. I hope Drummer Hangout inspires me to learn how to do that.

I don't play drums but I'm a big fan of electric drums! Our drummer at church plays electric and they are so easy to setup and take down! Having volume control is great too!

I think the initial membership is anyone subscribed to one of the other 'hangouts'. Give it time.

I do not call what I do on a banjo 'playing'.

I alsomake hawian slite drums the largest being 6ft talland 14inches in dim. a deep bass and fun to play. My main instrument is mandolin but uke,4-5-6 string banjos bass, guitar some hawian slide guitar and some times make mexicam type gueritos?. I'm retired-disabled and got tired of TV quickley so beat the drum instead of valume

This is great! I'm a BHO member as well. I've heard it said that a banjo is a drum with strings. I'm much better at the drums than the banjo, but I endeavor to persevere. I've been a drummer for more than 30 years.
