Turn on your metronome (Don't own one? Go buy one!) to a tempo of 120. With just one hand, hit the snare drum in tempo. Do this until you are 1) staying on temp AND 2) hitting with the same force each stroke. Varying force on purpose is okay, but learn how to not-vary it on-purpose, as well, at any given force level.

Do this with both hands individually.
