If all is original, it couldn't be a Powertone because the Eagle badge was used from the mid 50s to the late 50s and Powertones were produced only from 1961. The wrap, the rims and the clockface strainer look correct for a Holiday drum but I can't identify the lugs. They should be bread and butter lugs but they look a bit different. Perhaps they were changed to another type because B&B lugs are notorious for cracking. I think only Holidays were produced with the clockface strainer and the Eagle badge, while the lower end models of the 50s had cheaper strainers but I could be wrong. Anyway from the pics it seems most likely a Holiday. |
